Children and AIDS: Third Stocktaking Report. examines data on progress, emerging evidence, and current knowledge and practice for children as they relate to the various aspects of programming for children affected by HIV and AIDS.

It provides the latest child-specific statistics and analysis, and calls for several focused, concrete, achievable actions that can significantly improve prospects for children and women.  The report includes discussion of the growing call for a more inclusive definition of vulnerability.  It notes the positive impact this shift towards inclusive programming has had in national plans of action to help all vulnerable children, including those directly affected by AIDS.
