Guidelines nu toegepast door de Commissie voor Rechten van Kind bij landenrapportage

ingevoerd op 5-5-2010

De Guidelines voor the Alternative Care for Children waar het Better Care Network ook voor pleit worden nu toegepast door de Commissie voor de Rechten van het Kind bij de beoordeling van de landenrapportage die elke vijf jaar wordt gedaan door alle landen die het Verdrag voor de Rechten van het Kind getekend hebben.
Een ieder kan het dus sturen naar partners die betrokken zijn bij het maken van de landenrapportage en bij beleid op gebied van kinderen zonder adequate ouderlijke zorg om te gebruiken als een manier om betere zorg te bepleiten.

47. The Committee recommends that the State party:
(a) Urgently develop an effective alternative care strategy and monitoring systems, taking into account the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children contained in General Assembly resolution 64/142 adopted on 20 November 2009;
