India: Taks Force Orissa start campagne ”Right to Family” met workshop op 30 en 31 augustus

De Task force Orissa is een samenwerkingsverband dat werkt aan de promotie van niet institutional vormen van de kinderbescherming en kinderzorg in de Staat Orissa. In samenwerking met de Women & Child Development Department, Government of Orissa and Unicef, State office, organiseert de Task Force de “State level workshop on Non -Institutional Child Care System” en lanceert hier a campaign on “Right to Family”  Tijdens de campaign wordt ook een children’s consultation georganiseerd zodat de stem van kinderen over dit belangrijke onderwerp ook wordt gehoord.

Inhoud van het programma 
The key objective of the programme is to discuss the concept of non institutional child care system and opportunities under various policy framework of the state and popularise the concept in the state and mobilise a larger group to support for the cause . Participants in the workshop will be Child Welfare Committee members including Chairpersons, organisations working in the field of adoptions and some child right organisation of the state. We are also inviting some INGOs/Resource agencies working in this field.

Achtergrond documenten die voor de conferentie geschreven zijn zullen besproken worden en uitgedeeld tijdens ons seminar over India op 14 september 2010 in het Kinderrechtenhuis. De Stichting Kinderpostzegels steunt de Task Force en zal zorgen dat input vanuit India en vanuit Nederland gekoppeld wordt.
