Huisvesting voor jongeren die zelfstandig gaan wonen: een onderzoek

Jongeren die 18 jaar worden en de zorg gaan verlaten moeten vaak zelfstandig gaan wonen omdat ze niet terug naar huis kunnen.
De ”I matter” campaign van SOS Kinderdorpen heeft in kaart gebracht wat dit betekent en welke uitdagingen zij tegenkomen opgetekend uit de mond van jongeren zelf met handige tips hoe hieraan te werken.

The fourth edition of the Briefing Paper focuses on housing for care leavers. In a special editorial, Zeljka Kuzman (Croatian member of the International Youth Council) describes the challenges young people face when they need to find accommodation after leaving their care setting. You can read about fifty ways to help young people get ready for independent life as well as interviews with young people on their experiences in finding a place to live. Also in this edition, you can find articles by researchers on housing outcomes and support for care leavers in Latvia, England, Austria and Kazakhstan.
