Udayan Care is now accepting manuscripts for the second volume, issue 1, of the Journal, Institutionalised Children Explorations and Beyond slated for March 2015.
On March 14th, 2014 Udayan Care launched an international academic journal ’Institutionalised Children: Explorations and Beyond’ (ICEB), in relation to the state of care of children in institutions in the eight South Asian countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The 1st issue of the journal was released at the seminar Institutioalised Children: Seminar on Standards of Care and Mental Health (http://udayancare.org/seminar-journal/mhs_home.html) at Amity University, NCR, India, organised by Udayan Care with a host of partners and sponsors. On Sept 17,2014 Udayan Care launched the 2nd issue of ’Institutionalised Children: Explorations and Beyond’ (ICEB). This issue was released at a Multi-Sectoral Consultation on Aftercare Services for Children in Institutional Care (http://www.udayancare.org/seminar-journal/multi17.html) organised by Udayan Care, supported by UNICEF India,at India International Centre, New Delhi.
