Goals of this congress
-          Ask attention for family developments and family interests in public and political debates.
-          Offer a platform for all people who want to support the interest of families: ranging from people facilitating family-specific help to organizations supporting families in general.
-          Collect and distribute relevant knowledge concerning families.
-          Strengthen the relationship between national and international organizations, forums and networks in order to support the interests of the family together, also in developing countries.
-          Support and stimulate the contribution of families to the maintenance of the relations within and between generations.

What does World Congress of Families stand for?
Th­e World Congress of Families is a worldwide coalition that stands up for the position of the family. Th­e basis of the congress is article 16 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, saying: ’Th­e family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the state.’
